Join an exciting and educational workshop at SiS Sports Center on Tuesday, February 25, from 17:00 to 19:00.
The workshop is divided into two parts. We will begin with a lecture in the Atrium (the large staircase) in the reception area of SiS Sports Center. After that, we will move to the Functional Fitness hall for a CrossFit session led by none other than Games athlete Seher Kaya.
Meeting point: The Atrium at SiS Sports Center – come dressed in workout clothes.
Soroush Jozani – Speaker
Soroush Jozani is an experienced leader, speaker, and coach specializing in both physical and mental development. He is one of the founders of CrossFit Asker, CF CrossFit Ålesund, and ATA Training Equipment, where he helps people create optimal training environments and unlock their full potential. Soroush is also a lecturer at AFPT, serving as the academic lead for their Functional Fitness education program.
In this lecture, he will introduce participants to the C.I.D Method – an approach focused on programming the mind, understanding the power of inner dialogue, and mastering goal-oriented training. He will share insights on Growth Mindset, neuroplasticity, and how we can develop the ability to receive coaching and feedback to achieve long-term improvement.
Seher Kaya – Team CrossFit WoD
Seher Kaya is one of Norway’s top CrossFit athletes, known for her dedication, discipline, and impressive competition results. She is not only a high-level competitor but also a passionate coach who helps others build both physical and mental strength.
During this session, Seher will guide participants through a **team-based workout**, focusing on collaboration, effort, and mental resilience. She will demonstrate how the principles from the lecture can be applied in practice – using the right mindset, strategy, and willingness to push beyond personal limits.
